From Concept to Creation: Exploring our approach to Hofy’s Illustrations

We're excited to give you a glimpse into the thought process behind our newest animated video. We love crafting narratives through designs that look cool and stay true to our brand. And even more so when phenomenal motion design comes out of it!

Here is a quick run-down of three selected illustrations from our latest project for Hofy. I invite you to dive in with us and get a feel for how we balance relatability and aesthetics in our work. 1 - This illustration artfully combines three critical brand-aligned elements: Hexagons, illustrated backgrounds, and user photography. Central to the design is a hexagonal mask, a striking feature that draws the viewer's attention. Another outlined hexagon creates a pattern, seamlessly transitioning through the composition to enhance its overall coherence. The illustrated backgrounds showcase an assortment of locations, from a train to the beach and even the moon. This diversity, brought to life through a unique, brand-specific illustrative style, adds dynamism to the piece. Meanwhile, the integration of real-life user photography serves to heighten relatability. Each element vibrantly manifests within its realm, yet they are harmoniously composed to produce a singular, cohesive piece.

2 - This illustration subtly conveys the abstract concept of user onboarding through a sleek, glass-like representation of minimalist UI shapes. Adding user photographs infuses vibrancy into the sequence, narrated by a traveling hexagon, our primary brand shape. This movement across the frame emphasizes the whole action, heightened further by captivating motion design.

3 - This illustration presents a more detailed, glass-like UI design. Here, an on-screen cursor meticulously guides every step in the sequence. We aimed to accentuate the main story-telling elements at every given moment. To that end, we've designed an aesthetically pleasing UI to receive, ensuring that each element in the composition serves a specific purpose.

4 - In this illustration, we showcase product delivery's dynamic and its ethereal nature. The delivery process has both a digital aspect (the platform) and a tangible one (actual hardware delivered to the user). We wanted to portray this in a vibrant yet abstract manner that, in sync with the brand's spirit, merges these two worlds into a hexagon shape with an ethereal comet tail, reflecting the speed of operation.
