Schools & Communities First Funding Act
We were asked to produce this video by the Service Employees International Union, Local 99 - the union of California education workers. The animation aimed to explain the content of The Schools & Communities First Funding Act and get the community’s endorsement.
Style Development
We wanted to evoke a heart-warming feeling in the viewers and, at the same time - encourage them to take action. Our point was to let the audience relate to individual characters and make them unite to fight for a common issue. The animation has been created entirely in After Effects. We combined keyframe animation techniques with additional overlays, displacements, and variations in frame rates, to create a sensation of a hand-drawn piece.
